Is there an "official" git gateway to SVN?
July 03, 2010, 07:21:10 pm
I'm in  a project where I've done a few patches on 3.2 core (most of these have been submitted), but am getting to the point where it would help if other people could get at our patches, and I could more easily merge theirs.

I've noticed that there are a couple of git repositories floating around; the most obvious one I've found at:
Code: [Select]
git://code.creativecommons.org/civicrm.git
This seems pretty up-to-date, and it appears to be gateway'ed somehow to the official svn repository.  There are certain advantages when using git to clone off a gateway rather than directly off an svn repository.  I'm just wondering if the repository on createcommons.org is an appropriate place to clone off of.
