Calendar Widget on Date Feilds
July 06, 2010, 07:50:48 pm
I am trying to eliminate the calendar widget from my date field in a custom profile that I include on an event registration page.  It does not reliably display across browsers.  After trying unsuccessfully to fix the problem through theming, I did some research and have tried:

1) disabling and then uninstalling the date popup module
2) deleting the files/civicrm/templates_c folder
3) going to the Administration --> Global --> date-something-or-other page and setting the default date format to mm/dd/yyy
4) running cron
5) clearing cache on site and my browser cache
6) in this order and to no avail....

I cannot figure this out.   Anyone know what I can do?

Thanks!

CiviCRM doesn't use the Date Pop-up module - so disabling that won't help.

Are you using 3.1 or 3.2 beta? If so, what browsers are you having problems with? If you can replicate a problem on the public demo with a mainstream browser / current version - we'd definitely like to know about it. Include exact browser / version / PC OS and screenshot(s).
