how to replace 1.7 beta with 1.7 stable?
May 04, 2007, 02:46:20 pm
Hey there, I have been enjoying CiviCRM for a few weeks now, using CiviCRM 1.7.beta.9284.

Can anyone recommend the best way to move to the latest stable release?

How can I tell if there were any DB changes?

How can I grab only the changed files?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

We avoid doing any DB changes once we release a beta. 1.7 has followed that rule and there are no DB changes from beta -> stable.

You do not need to reinstall the database or change the settings file. Just untar the latest codebase on top of your older beta code
