Why can't we set the end date when renewing ?

Hi,

Something I don't get: why can you set the end date of a membership when you create it, but not when you renew it ?

I'd like to be able to renew and change the end date, but it's hard coded. Something to set somewhere ?

Let me reformulate: would it be complicated to change it and would the patch interest you (3.2.n)
