Source of "To:" address when testing outbound SMTP

I've gotten stumped on this one. I have set up outbound SMTP in 3.1.4. I sent a test mailing and it reported successful, however, the "To:" address does not go to me (the tester) so I can't really see if it was successful. I've searched but cannot find where to set the To: address. The From: address seems to come from the Domain Information.

Are you referring to the Global Settings > Outbound Email configuration - Save and Send Test Email? In 3.2 (and pretty sure in 3.1) it does use the primary email address of the contact record associated w/ the logged in user - and it displays this in a status msg after sending the test:

Sending test email. FROM: info@civicrm.org TO: dave@civicrm.org.
Your MAIL settings are correct. A test email has been sent to your email address.
