Install Appears to Upload but doesn't
July 08, 2010, 08:54:13 am
I am  trying to install Civi for Joomla and when I upload the file it looks like it is uploading then all of a sudden the page jumps to my main menus page.

It does not show that it saved, nor can I find it anywhere in the back end...

Anyone have a guess how to fix this problem? I have tied the upload at least 4 times.

How does this link help exactly?  Are you saying that it doesn't work and forget about it?  I m having the same issue and I'm not sure I understand the response.

umm... did you go to the link? it provides guidance on installing in joomla. the previous poster had a problem installing, so I directed him/her to the installation guide as they were not installing it properly (you can't use the browse/upload/install installation tool, you must use the install from directory tool)
