Cannot establish menu link in Joomla
July 09, 2010, 10:24:17 am
I'm trying to create a "latest events" module in Joomla for my home page. I've created a menu item and followed all of the steps, but there are no events displaying in the drop-down. I only have one event on my site thus far (still in testing mode), and registration is disabled - I just want to link to the event info page. The settings from within CiviEvent show that the event info is live and active, so I'm not sure what's going wrong. Any assistance is appreciated!

Did you ever get a response to this post or resolve it on your own?  I have the exact same issue trying create a Joomla menu item / link for an event.  Contribution pages and profiles show up fine.  Only events do not show up in the drop down list.
