Localization: DB Error: insufficient permissions

Hello all,

I just wanted to add an additional language to my civicrm installation. I've managed to install the reguired l10i files. Now if I want to add the language in the localization interface, I get a database error:

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.
DB Error: insufficient permissions
Database Error Code: TRIGGER command denied to user 'username'@'localhost' for table 'civicrm_contact', 1142

Any idea about what needs to be done here?

I am assuming you want multilingual setup. Looks like your database user does not have permission to create triggers. Check with your server admin.

Hello Kurund,

Thanks for your answer. Browsing the webpage of my hosting provider (Bluehost.com) shows that they don't give access to the trigger functionality (http://forums.bluehost.com/showthread.php?p=82140).

Is there any workaround?

No, you won't be able to multi-lingual feature.
