Using OpenLDAP only to store CiviCRM contact info (not authenticate login users)
July 12, 2010, 12:06:03 am
Hi there,

Currently I use Fedora DS to authenticate users logging into CiviCRM, but would like to use OpenLDAP to extract contact information (E.g. name, phone, email address) so I can create a directory of the contacts within CiviCRM. Would I use the LDAP integration doc located at http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/CiviCRM+LDAP+Integration#CiviCRMLDAPIntegration-ConfigureOpenLDAP, or is there more involved?

Thanks in advance
