Hello,

I would like to limit a user or a role to send mailings only to a certain group of users but I don't know how can I do it.

that's what I've done:

I created an Acl Role for a delegation
I created a group for a region, which is also a mailing list (this is the group I want to limit the sendings of the previously created ACL role
I added an ACL rule to the ACL role created in #1 as to view the contacts belonging to the group created in #2

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work, since I am accessing with a test user with Drupal's permissions to access to CiviMail but I get a warning message whenever I get into CiviMail that says: "To send a mailing, you must have a valid group of recipients - either at least one group that's a Mailing List or at least one previous mailing."

What am I doing wrong?

Hm, this should work. Can you check what does the ‘manage groups’ listing show? (You should see that one group.)

(Also, please double check whether it’s a mailing group.)
