Allowing anonymous users to find members on Drupal
July 12, 2010, 05:41:37 am
Hi all,

I'm trying to open up Members to an anonymous search - I just want a user to come in, fill in the search box and have it search the contents, activities and members.  Activities and contents works out of the box and I've been playing around with smart groups.  Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks

Hi - read the section on profiles in the book - it explains how you can use these to expose information including via a search. Otherwise Views can be used if for any reason the Profile route doesn't deliver your needs
