Installing on a temp URL
July 12, 2010, 01:51:15 pm
I have installed Drupal and Civi on a temp url (i.e. http://174.121.93.134/~temp) and have modified the default settings to allow for the temp url, however any of the admin areas don't recognize the temp url and I get a 404. Is there somewhere else that I need to modify the base settings to recognize the temp url?

If you have changed the civicrm directory or IP address check http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Moving+an+Existing+Installation+to+a+New+Server+or+Location

Thanks for the response. I had followed all of those steps, however I guess I missed one.

Rebuild the menus. The menu links in the civicrm_menu table contain full URL links and need to be updated with the new domain.
