CiviMail - clicking new mailing just takes me back to the dashboard. SOLVED

Hi Everyone

I am currently working on implementing CiviCRM for the charity i work for and have come across a small issue.

When i try and use the CiviMail section i just get sent straight back to the dashboard. Also when i get into the CiviCRM administration console the CiviMail section is there but there is nothing in it.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi, have you enabled CiviMail from

Global -> Configure -> Enable Components?

Cheers!

Yeah

If i didn't have that enabled then the option wouldn't appear in the top navigation bar.

I fixed the issue by replacing all the CiviCRM files on the server and then running the update.php (which didnt do anything because it was the same version.) it that now works.
