Random /div and /form breaking layout
July 14, 2010, 09:35:14 pm
HI - i have a large profile that I am testing in 3.2 - I didn't notice this problem prior to upgrade - it seems like there are some /div and /form breaking things by pushing them out of the container - see attached - any suggestions what I should be looking for - i have tried removing various odd characters such as / that were in some of the field options in case they were messing with things.

WOuld it have anything to do with some of the Div class being "edit-value content" and the ones just before the layout changes are "content edit-value"??

So to my eye there is a problem with checkboxes whereby there is an extra </div>
Code: [Select]
<div class="content edit-value'>
<div class="clear"></div>
</div>
</div>

which I take it is incorrect.

The three fields I can see have this issue are Checkboxes, and I am suspecting that the cumulative nature of this is what then triggers the /form

so couldnt test on DEMO due to login failing - tried on sandbox - created new checkbox fields - and they all showed as "edit-value content" and hence were fine.

On the site I have problems with it was an upgrade from 3.1.5

I just created a new test checkbox field and it also shows fine ie "edit-value content"

Has this possibly got anything to do with checkboxes being handled by the tpls differently between the two versions?

dave - following our conversation on this - and since the issue is persisting in 3.2 - have you been able to take a further look at this - or should i put an issue on JIRA?

Peter,

This should be fixed by  http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-6513, so try applying this patch: http://fisheye2.atlassian.com/changelog/CiviCRM?cs=28825

All is good in the land of 3.2

Thanks for the quick fix and all the hard work on getting 3.2 out the door. We are upgrading clients as I type.
