which user/role is in charge of membership subscriptions

I am working on a drupal/civicrm (test-)site on which I have to do some testing on the subscription process of new members. It looks like the subscription is send to a certain role in civicrm. I want to change the emailadress of this role, so that I don't bugger any one with my testwork. But I don't know how to find out which role is in charge of the subscriptions (civicrm_memberships). Can anyone help me on with that ?

Hi Rik - no one role is 'in charge' in the sense you are using so not sure if i quite understand. If this is an online form (COntribution Page using Memberships) then one of the Profiles used can have email addresses added in the Advanced Settings of the profile - or in the Contribution Page they may have set up to have the 'receipt' cc'ed to someone - see the Contribution Page configuration. Does that help?

Thanks for replying. I did some digging in the profiles and contribution and it looked like nobody's specially involved in it indeed. Meanwhile I started testing and nobody is complaining ... sofar ;)
