Civi DB Tools on CiviCRM 3.1.5
July 20, 2010, 03:55:24 am
Am getting a message from the database integrity tools that states as follows:

Code: [Select]
CiviCRM DB Tools Version 1.2

Password:
Checking database BCP
Got version 3.1.5 from civicrm_domain.version
FATAL: Don't recognize version 3.1.5

Is there a workaround for this or a different version of the tools?  I downloaded them from http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Database+Troubleshooting+Tools

Thanks in advance

Tim

EDIT:  Just found the part in the tutorial that says I need to download some extra bits from the SVN repository.  Apologies for jumping the gun.

So still failing with this.  Tried svn command but our firewall is blocking the port i believe (something like 3609).  So I though I would use the human friendly version but cannot find 3.1.5 listed within that.  Tried Tortoise SVN on a windows machine but this then prompts for a username and password.  does anyone have any help they can send my way.

Thanks

Tim

EDIT:  Managed to get the firewall block lifted.  Ran the svn command and it has downloaded and created the v3.1.5 directory.  ran the same command again to test the integrity and it has come back with the same error as before.

EDIT2: Am assuming it is something to do with the utility not knowing that the new schema exists.  Looking at the docs the new schema needs to be added to the utils php file?  Is that correct?  As I have jumped to 3.1.5 do I need the schema files for 3.1.0 first?

the db toolkit was developed by dharmatech and has not been updated in some time

it would be great if you can take a look and figure out what needs to be done to get it to match the latest version

most of us have not looked at it in detail and hence are of limited help

Well I will certainly try.  at over 3000 lines of code and given my very limited knowledge of php (or programming for that matter!) it may take a while  :)  Still, think I found the bit in the util file and just need to adjust it a bit and test.  will give it a riip tomorrow morning when I get to work.  Wish me luck
