custom note is not saved at all

Hi there,
I created a custom group of fields for my events, and today added a new Note-RichTextEditor to provide a better summary (need html formatting).
Everything went ok, but when I check the event listing the note field was empty. I went back to edit that event and noticed that the field was blank. I typed the information one more time and hit save, reloaded the page and it was empty again.

Any ideas on where I should start looking for a fix?

Can you update your forum profile with CiviCRM version and CMS / CMS version etc and
replicate the similar behavior on our demo http://demo.civicrm.org/

Sorry, couldn't find where to put that info on my profile, I'm running 3.1.4 with Drupal.

I created a test in your 3.2 sandbox (event: "testing not-saved notes").
The html is also not saved, and in future edits the event field is not editable anymore.

Thx for reporting this. Your test was already 'reset' on demo but I easily recreated the problem.

why is it reported as affecting 3.2 only? i'm running 3.1.4

I didn't replicate on 3.1.x - and I'm not sure if it will get fixed for 3.1.x as that is a somewhat infrequently used feature (hence not caught earlier) and we are close to stable on 3.2. You may be able to backport the fix if you're not planning on upgrading to 3.2 in the near future. Depends on how big a change etc.
