We're using a smart group to publish a menu item for "Current Members." (In Joomla, if that matters in this case.) Works great initially, but if you expand the search criteria and type a value, that search persists throughout any future browsing you do. So, for example, if you go back to the menu item for Current Members, you don't get the current members: you get the results of your previous search. And it's really unclear how to clear that search.

Most users will not know that they must clear all the search fields... especially when the searching function has collapsed and is not visible.

Is there a way to force clear any searches when a profile/smart group is loaded?

Thank you for the reply. Yes, &reset=1 works. I've added it to the menu item and also set up a custom template that includes the url as a text link, set to float right in the area that shows the current search parameters.

That should do it.
