Need a custom field with the ability to have searchable multiple values
July 23, 2010, 02:34:00 am
Hi Everyone

I am trying to make a section on our site for recording our collection boxes. the problem i have is that we need to be able to search by box number using the advanced search which would be fine if it was one box per location. However we can have up to eight boxes at one location at one time. I have currently set 8 text boxes set up to hold the alphanumeric box ID but to find one i would need to know which of the text boxes the number was in. Is there a way of searching all 8 boxes at once or having a single text box that i would be able to have multiple Box ID's in and search for one ID in that box?

I hope that makes sense.

Thanks in advance

Chelcone
