CiviMember Roles Sync Broken on Upgrade

I recently upgraded from 3.0.2 to 3.1.5 and I noticed that it had dropped my CiviMember Roles rules.  When I went in to create them again, I got this error:

"There was an error adding the association rule. Please check your database settings and try again. If you continue to get this error message then try to reinstall CiviMember Roles Sync."

I tried to find a way to reinstall it manually, but to no avail.  Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Seems to be working fine for me, I am 3.1.6.

I just upgraded to 3.1.6 and I'm having the same problem.

Hi Jon,

I upgraded my local install from v3.0.4 to v3.1.6.
It seems to be working fine for me.

Okay, I've actually pinpointed the problem.  Somehow the civicrm_group_roles_rules and civicrm_member_roles_rules tables are missing from the Drupal database.  I tried disabling the modules and importing the tables back in from a previous backup, but that didn't work.

Is there any way I can just reinstall those modules and have them rebuild the tables?

Try uninstalling the module and then install again.

I had tried that before and they didn't even show up under the list of modules I could uninstall.  However, I decided to go ahead and look, just to be on the safe side.  Sure enough, they were there this time.  I think that actually having the tables for them in my database made the difference, even though they were broken.

Now that I was able to actually run the uninstallation and reinstallation, it finally worked.
