Easy way to enter ACL info

I wonder if anyone can tell me about an easy way to enter ACLs with multiple groups/permissions, etc.

I am new to civiCRM but as I understand it, if I want to make multiple groups, I have to make each group, role and then enter each permission one by one.

Is there a way, say using an xml sheet to edit a complete system and then upload/import it?

I have read the wiki page on ACLs multiple times, but I get no hint. (Is there anything out there that has more detail on ACLs than the wiki page?)

no support for those objects currently, but would be great if you can take a look at the scripts:

bin/migrate/{import,export}.php and extend it to implement support for groups, acl groups and acl roles. That would benefit you and the community a whole lot!
