How does employee edit employer record?
July 29, 2010, 01:12:37 pm
I'm sure this is a stupid question, but ...

I've given an employee the rights to edit his employer's record (checked the 'can view and update information for 'employer' check box)

But how does the employee actually go about doing that?

When logged in via drupal, user sees only their own personal profile on the user/me page.  Clicking  "profile edit" lets them edit that, but not their companies.

I had expected to see something on this page giving them access to their employers profile, but perhaps there's something else?

Link to edit their Employer info should be displayed on their "Contact Dashboard" (which is linked from bottom of their My Account page - assuming you have that permission enabled (under Drupal's Administer > User > Permissions, CiviCRM permissions section).
