Drupal user roles & CiviCRM groups
August 02, 2010, 08:32:32 pm
Hi,

I'm a little confused about how Drupal user roles & CiviCRM groups relate.  Is it possible for me to define a Drupal role as identical to a given CiviCRM group?  In our organization we have a group of about 35 active members that are designated in a CiviCRM group, and I'd like to give them permissions (in the Drupal sense) to see certain content on the site.

I've synchronized users to contacts, and individual Drupal users are linked to CiviCRM contacts, but I'm not seeing how groups can relate.

Thanks,

 -Ken

check the module: civicrm_group_roles

Thanks, that looks good.  Am I correct that I install this as a Drupal module by moving it from sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/modules/ to sites/all/modules/ ?
