The procedure to add a relationship takes a few too many steps, especially if the target contact is not yet in the database.

The way that you can create contacts on the fly on the New Case screen is one way this could be improved, i.e. instead of having to search, have an autocomplete field and then beside it a "New XXX" dropdown.

The particular use-case here is back-entering a person's previous employers, but it would apply generally.

I think that would be a nice improvement. Any chance you'd want to take a crack at adding in the "OR New Contact..." functionality to that form?
