Error when using CiviCRM Contact in a View Filter

When I try to filter by a CiviCRM Contact field, I get this error...

Error Description:
Fatal error:  Access level to civicrm_cck_handler_filter::$content_field must be public (as in class content_handler_filter_many_to_one) in /usr/local/drupal6/www/drupal6/sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/modules/civicrm_cck/civicrm_cck_handler_filter.inc on line 31

What's your CiviCRM version? Can you provide exact steps to replicate this.

I am working with kreynen on this.  The module is from version 3.2.  I rewrote the handler and submitted a patch here: http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-6598
