Name and Address Fields Missing in Drupal User Edit Screen
August 05, 2010, 06:52:43 am
Under the user edit, the Name and address information that is linked to civicrm is missing for all users other than user-1. I have checked the permissions and "profile listings and forms" is enabled for all users. Am I missing something?

Hi,
Go to Administer CiviCRM/Global Settings/Site Preferences and take a look at what is checked under "Editing Contacts". My guess is that the boxes for the address fields are unchecked. I'm not sure why the name wouldn't show up though. Also check the settings for "Address settings".

Hope this helps,
Cynthia

Are you using a profile to edit the address information? or are you using the main contact/edit screen? More information would be helpful? Also, were you ever able to see the missing information?

I have added a quick screencast for further clarification. The first user is user-1 and the second is a basic authenticated user.

Nico,
I hope somoene else will jump in to help you because I don't know what is wrong. It would seem to be a permission issue but given what you said, I'm not sure what it is that is missing.

I'll monitor this post and hope that someone else will take a crack at helping you.

Sorry...
Cynthia

1. you might want to upgrade to 3.2.0 and check if it works there

2. you should also check your permissioning and see that you have the right permissions setup for profiles
