Province data not accepted
August 06, 2010, 12:59:29 pm
What do I do when a state or province is not found in the civiCRM database or spelled differently?

There doesn't seem to be any place to:

- ignore the error (esp during import)
- update the built in list

for state/provinces we've tried to follow the ISO standards (and/or advice from local civicrm users)

you can augment the built-in list by modifying the table: civicrm_state_province
