I was trying to test something on the Sandbox that Dave (I think) said was fixed in 3.2 but I hit an obtacle to testing it.

I was trying to test whether the existing organisation would be filled in by default for someone signing up to a page where the only membership type option is an on-behalf-of employer/employee type and the logged in individual has exactly one employer. The answer to this was no and while it would be better if it did I didn't necessarily expect this to have been implemented as the 'select existing / create new' isn't there.

More particularly I was trying to test whether it would default to displaying the contact's only employer on renewing when that employer is also the employer that is the 'master' of the membership to be renewed (on the 3.x version we have it defaults to 'existing org' but does not select one).

However, I couldn't test this scenario because when I changed the end date of the master membership record the end date of the inherited membership didn't change (and there is no option to edit it manually). This would not seem like the correct behaviour to me...
