Priceset - free and paying participants
August 10, 2010, 02:02:22 am
We have events where some of the participants can register for free (because they are members) and others have to pay.

We use 'pay later' as method. We can set up both prices for members and non-members but now everyone who registers gets the payment information. Is there a possibility to exclude this when the price is 0?

If you are not using price set you can use http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC32/CiviCRM+hook+specification#CiviCRMhookspecification-hookcivicrmbuildAmount  hook that will allow you to removed 0 value fee etc.

I don't think build amount hook supports price sets, so your best bet will be using some javascript to remove that particular option when page loads.
