Admin URLs Not Updated

Hoping there's an easy solution that I've somehow overlooked. I've been configuring CiviCRM using a temp url (http://xx.xx.xx.xxx/~sitename/) and everything was working fine. Today I made the site live by updating the DNS. So we're now running on http://sitename.org

Everything on the front end seems to work correctly, but most of the admin links for CiviCRM still have the site folder in them, so it's http://sitename.org/~sitename/administrator/...

I've updated the Site URL in Administer > Configure > Update Directory Path and URL. I've manually edited the civicrm.settings.php in the administrator folders. I've deleted all files in media/civicrm/templates_c/. Cleared browser cache, tried different machines, nothing seems to work.

I'm thinking about sacrificing a chicken. In case that doesn't work either, does anyone have any suggestions?

p.s. running Joomla 1.5.20 and CiviCRM 3.2.1.

the menus need to be rebuilt

enter the following url:
http://www.sitename.org/administrator/index2.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/menu/rebuild?reset=1

if that doesn't work, go to:
http://www.sitename.org/administrator/index2.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/admin/menu&reset=1

edit a menu item and click the link that appears to reload the menu (if you just right click to rename a menu item and click enter it will trigger the reload option)

You rock! I had tried the first option for rebuilding the menus yesterday and it didn't work. I also tried it today and it didn't work... but the second option (editing the menus) did work! Whew.

Thanks for the knowledge. By the way, I didn't see the menu edit method in the wiki article (which is great... and what I followed yesterday... and almost got it all done myself). I know I could edit the wiki, but I'm feeling a little too newb to be writing help files.

I'm learning fast, though... thanks to the awesome help.
