Making a 'shortcut' link to the contact overview

Hello,

I'm just starting to use CiviCRM today and I find it an amazing piece of software. One thing that struck me very quick though, is that in order to view the contact list with all contacts, you have to go to the search contact page and search nothing to see that list. You could state that searching nothing in the search bar in the top menu is a shortcut for that, but I find that kinda weird. :)

Is it possible to add a link named say 'all contacts' that would just link to the page where you can see all the contacts?

Again, great software. Keep it up!

Hey danny ,

You can go to - civicrm/admin/menu&reset=1 and create a menu with url  "civicrm/contact/search&reset=1&force=1" , which will force to search by default.
