BLANK PAGE AFTER INSTALLING CIVICRM
August 13, 2010, 02:00:31 am
Hi guys. I installed civicrm on my hosted site(parallels plesk). But the challenge I have is that when ever I try loading civicrm from the components (civicrm top menu), it returns a blank white page. I searched through the forum, and I saw some posts that said the problem could be that I have to edit the INI.PHP file. Please, does anyone know how I can locate this, and get this problem fixed

I have located the php.ini file. Its in my /home/httpd/vhosts/accountname/httpdocs. It was saved in the name configuration.php but I havent been able to edit the file, I think I would require permissions from my hosting company, because I changed the permission, but I am still not able to edit the file. I would keep you posted.

you're looking for: php.ini
it controls various server settings. ask your hosting provider about how to modify php settings on your space.

you should also make sure your host is meeting the basic requirements of civi -- php 5.2.1+, mysql 5.0+ with InnoDB, etc.
