Changing Default language results in errors on front end profiles.
August 16, 2010, 06:04:31 am
Good day,

First of all I'll list my environment:
CiviCRM 2.2.8
PHP 5.2.9
Joomla 1.5.14

The website has a few forms on the front end where users can edit their profile (profile edit) and make contributions (contribution page)
After installing the localisation files and changing the the default language to dutch the 'Cancel' button when editing a profile will result in an error:
'Could not find valid value for gid'.
The profile is set to redirect when clicking Cancel, but removing this didn't seem to make a difference.

Everything else still works, when clicking Save the profile saves the data and redirects as it should. Contribution pages also still work.

When I change the default language back to english the cancel button works again without any error.

Does anybody have an idea where this problem may lie?

Piotr Szotkowski

Can you try checking any other language that has this button translated (French, German or Italian, for example)?
