menu in backend red boxes no images

Hi

I've had this problem for some time now and have only just got around to posting. Everything else in civicrm works fine, but in the backend (joomla installation), all the menu's are missing images and have red boxes around the links. I do remember coming across a post on this issue sometime in the past, but have searched the forum and cannot find it again. Hopefully it's something easy!!

Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Emily

Please go to Administer CiviCRM → Global Settings → Resource URLs and verify the CiviCRM Resource URL setting there; this gets prepended to all image URLs and CSS file locations, so if it’s wrong then the browser tries to get the images/CSS files from non-existing locations.
If you found the above helpful, please consider helping us in return – you can even steer CiviCRM’s future and help us extend CiviCRM in ways useful to you.
