Hi there

I've been tasked with evaluating CiviCRM, already in use at our organisation for membership and events, as a potential system for the volunteer placement team to use. The spec at http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRM/CiviVolunteer,+CiviCommittee seems ideal, but the most recent thread I could find on this subject (June 2009) suggests that the CiviVolunteer module has not yet been developed. Just wondering of that's still the case now?
