Moving Installs
August 18, 2010, 06:59:34 pm
Hi,

I have a Civicrm Install of Joomal (v 3.0.1)
and I want to move to to a another Joomla site, which has CiviCRM installed (the latest version, just installed and downloaded tonight)

What is the best way to move over the data records? Especially since they have not really customized the install much at all. I don't want all of the joomla site stuff. so exporting and reimporting the database isn't really working too well.

I am an utter newbie to CiviCrm, but pretty handy in Joomla.

THANKS!

Do I need the jos_tables?

Because I do not want to move the joomla data into the new site..

Also, will I need to upgrade the database to the newest version of CiviCRM?
