Email2Activity Error
August 19, 2010, 12:27:32 pm
Hi all,

I'm getting an error trying to run Email2Activity.php. I've followed all the steps outlined here:

But am getting this error:
connecting to and authenticating as
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'ezcMailTransportException' with message 'An error occured while sending or receiving mail. Failed to connect to the server: :110.' in /home/natedame/calledtoym.com/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/ezc/Mail/src/transports/transport_connection.php:97 Stack trace: #0 /home/natedame/calledtoym.com/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/ezc/Mail/src/transports/pop3/pop3_transport.php(206): ezcMailTransportConnection->__construct(NULL, 110, Object(ezcMailPop3TransportOptions)) #1 /home/natedame/calledtoym.com/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Mailing/MailStore/Pop3.php(57): ezcMailPop3Transport->__construct(NULL, NULL, Array) #2 /home/natedame/calledtoym.com/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Mailing/MailStore.php(67): CRM_Mailing_MailStore_Pop3->__construct(NULL, NULL, NULL, false) #3 /home/natedame/calledtoym.com/sites/all/modules/civicrm/bin/EmailProcessor.php(75): CRM_Mailing_MailStore::getStore('default') #4 /home/natedame/calledtoym.com/sites/all/modules/civicrm/bin/EmailProcessor.php(201): EmailProc in /home/natedame/calledtoym.com/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/ezc/Mail/src/transports/transport_connection.php on line 97

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!!

Hi, There were changes to ezcmail around 3.1.3 - I suggest you try upgrading to a later version before debugging

Seem to have fixed it.

Per CiviSMTP's requirements we had another default Mail Account in CiviCRM with just our mailing subdomain listed. We tried not making it default, etc., but seems that when you delete it completely, these errors go away and everything processes as it should.

Now to see if this account is truly required for CiviSMTP to run correctly? It's listed in step #6 here but after initial testing I'm not sure it's required for it to function http://civismtp.uas.coop/drupal/node/1.
