Hi,

Is there some instructions that might tell me how to generate a membership listing on the front end?

Pete

not sure about joomla but one route would be
- create smart group of contacts with valid membership
- create profile set for listing
- limit profile to list only those in the above group

it's the same for joomla.

your smart group would likely search on members status = new/current/grace
and after setting your profile to limit listings to this group (advanced settings) you would create a menu item to a profile search page

the profile provides the search/listing/detail functionality, but limited to only current members

If you are using cicicrm 3.2.4, you can do profile listings. Create a profile, then display the profile (with group specified).
This has worked like a charm for me. Hope this helps.

Could this resolution also be used to generate a list of member web site links and/or display pictures associated with a member's contact record?

Sounds likely - or a Drupal View maybe?

Using Joomla for this site, not Drupal.  Client can't 'handle' Drupal, lol.
