New York Code Sprint: Agenda Suggestions - Sept 18-20

Here are some topics that might be of interest. Please do offer your suggestions and how you can help facilitate / make this happen. Please be prepared to play a lead role in the spec / development of your suggestion.

Here are some of my suggestions:

- Import API and scripting batch imports along with a unit test set
- CiviCampaign - Adding more Voter Management and Canvassing functionality
- CiviMobile - Building on the current prototype built by Kurund
- CiviCRM v3.3 - Something meaty like the logging framework

I'm interested in learning as much as I can about unit testing and automated unit test in general.

I do have one interesting suggestion that may not be achievable but I believe is worthy of discussion:

I have been playing with CiviCRM drush commands and it seemed to have work very well. Since CiviCRM has frequent minor version releases I believe some sort of automated or semi-automated updating process could prove to be valuable.

You can automatically run the upgrade script with Civi drush - do you mean to be able to download point versions using drush

Yeah, I experimented with giving a download url for CiviCRM package and by issuing a bunch of shell commands via php was able to automate the process. I do like the idea of automatically point to the SVN repo (or whatever type of repo) to fetch the latest package but I would like to maintain the flexibility to point to local package file and do semi-automatic and incremental update.
