CiviCrm Access Control
November 08, 2007, 06:07:48 pm
Hi,

We need to customise our version of CiviCRM, so that our users have limited access to the database. We do not want to allow users to administer the site.

Please advise if this is available yet.

I have searched on your site and found the following comment to this issue:

"This Feature is Not Currently Available for Joomla/Mambo Installations

CiviCRM Access Control is not yet available for Joomla/Mambo installations. We expect to implement this feature in an upcoming release - based on the anticipated availability of requisite functionality in Joomla."

Thanks in advance,

Natalie.

This feature is not available as yet. It is currently not on the roadmap for 2.0, but we might try to incorporate some amount of this in the standalone version of civicrm.

If your org is interested in working on this and/or contributing resources to this, please get in touch with us via email and/or IRC
