Force SSL Problem
August 25, 2010, 06:02:17 am
Hello,

I have an SSL cert on my server, and all pages come up fine when I add https:// to the urls, but when I try to force the civicrm installation to force ssl, it keeps giving me the same error "You need to set up a secure server before you can use the Force Secure URLs option".

Any ideas?
I am using civicrm 3.2.2 on drupal 6.19, apache 2.2, php 5.3.3. My payment processor is Wells Fargo/authorize.net.

B

Can you try changing resource url to https and check if that help.

I am having trouble with SSL as well with the First Data payment processor that is standard in 3.2.  We have a custom SSL certificate installed on the server, but we keep getting the following error:

  Payment Processor Error message
: 60:Curl error - unable to use client certificate (no key found or wrong pass phrase?) Try this link for more information http://curl.haxx.se/docs/sslcerts.html

We have verified with both the hosting company and the issuing certificate company that the certificate is properly installed on the server.   Other than Force SSL, where can we tell Civi to look for the certificate when processing donations?  Thanks for your assistance.

We are using Civi 3.2.2 with Joomla 1.5.20.

lseibert, have you found a solution to your problem? I solved the original problem, but I am now having the same one as you on a different site.
