Hi all,

I recently came across the same issue identified in this old forum topic (running Joomla 1.5.20, Civi 3.2.1)

I see the workaround there but:
1) Has there been a more reasonable fix to address this issue?
2) Depending on the host provider, we may not be allowed or advised to edit core Joomla! files, so this is not a very useful solution for some (though I suspect there might not be a good solution that can be done in Civi itself...)

Thoughts?
