multisite upgrade to 3.3 issue
August 26, 2010, 12:35:35 pm
Hi,

Yesterday I upgraded civiCRM from v 2.x to latest 3.2. Upgrade went smoothly without any problem except the issue shown in the attached files. Seems to be css issue but not sure. I flushed the cache, deleted css and js folders under file directory, reset session, rebuilt menus but nothing seems to work. After spending whole day yesterday I tried to activate civiCRM module for the main default site and everything worked. That points to multisite set-up issue. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have confirmed base url, directory path and all are good.

Our configuration is as follows

drupal and civiCRM share same database
civicrm codebase is under root/sites/all/modules
civicrm is activated for one of the sites under root/sites/calendars.gcsu.edu

Ok I think I found the solution. I disabled Optimize CSS files option under Site Configuration -> Performance and everything is ok now.

This work-around would work for me , however, its really strange that when civiCRM module is activated on the main drupal default site everything works fine.

see http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,15207.0.html

The offending É character is in line 2348 of /civicrm/css/civicrm.css

Thanks Neil. Removing É from line 2349 of civicrm.css worked.

Had the same issue. Found the reported bug at http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-6723

Fixed in 3.2.3 - worked for me.
