My install looks nothing like the demo
August 26, 2010, 02:21:12 pm
Sooo, my install doesn't look as nice as the demo.  For example on a fresh install with garland the "new individual" does not have collapable fields.  I can click the "Expand all tabs" button but it doesn't do anything... they are all showing already.

Many page elements are pushing off the left side of the theme.

Am I having some kinda module conflict here or did I forget to enable something in civicrm?

It looks like I have way less css showing up on my site.  Did the demo http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/add&reset=1&ct=Individual add some css to make it look better?

It sounds like you don't have all the paths in civicrm set. Can you access the navigation menu ?

http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/setting/url&reset=1

Check the resource url. Is this correct ?

I do have access to the nav menu (the top bar menu, right?).  It doesn't have the little magnifying glass on the right of the search bar though.

I checked my reference urls, My image upload url was wrong.  Fixed it but that doesn't do anything.

I am on multisite, so I moved civicrm from all/modules to mysite.com/modules.  Then cleared caches, fixed civicrm.settings.php, removed stuff under files/civicrm/template_c, removed cached css in files/css/, ran a drush civicrm-cache-clear (to clear the db caches), ran update.php, checked my ref. urls again...

Still no luck.  The css file (/sites/mysite.com/files/css/css_3eef7d2765f8f951ec751b40066e00d6.css) has like a quarter of the civicrm code as the css file on the demo site.  Is it not generating a full cache file?
