Anybody using Fast CGI for permissions?
August 30, 2010, 05:03:07 pm
We just tried to change our server settings to run PHP under Fast CGI instead of as an Apache module, but we ran into an issue of a lot of CiviCRM pages beginning to throw 500 internal server errors with "Premature end of script" in the error log. Anybody else have experience with this or any idea why that could be?

For the meantime we've reverted back to running PHP as an Apache module.

Hi,

Been running with fastcgi for years, no problem.

(don't remember the details, but you have to set some options so php works under fastcgi, but that's probably described in your server's doc)
