[solved] When does a contact show as adding themselves?

I have a bunch of contacts in the system that the Change Log shows as having added themselves.

They didn't use a Profile and weren't imported from a spreadsheet so I'm a bit baffled as to how they got there.

In what circumstances does a contact show as adding themselves?


-> In our case it was a custom module sometimes saving as the logged-in user and sometimes as the user just created.

Ryan - how are you saying the got in the DB - or are you saying you don't know? Can you assure us they did not use any of your Profiles?

I'm saying I don't know, but I know they didn't use a profile.

not sure how you can be sure they didn't use a profile - but accept what you are saying - want to flick me a couple of examples?

I can be sure because we only have two visible profiles, one that collects the address and adds them to a group (they weren't in), and the other that doesn't collect their address, and these contacts have addresses.
