Will CiviSchool work with CiviCRM 3.1.2?
September 14, 2010, 10:35:00 am
The documentation specifies 3.1.3 or above, but those releases create javascript incompatibilities with our theme and modules. We're stuck at 3.1.2. Any point in attempting to install CiviSchool?

it might, not too sure.

we are primarily developing with the latest version of 3.2.x. I suspect 95% of it will work quite nicely, but u'll need to figure out and debug the other pieces

whats your use case for CiviSchool?

I'm developing a site for a network of camps that want to offer online registration. They want separate contact records created for parents and campers - from one registration workflow. Will CiviSchool do that? If not, is there a way to make that happen with the standard CiviEvent?

there are a couple of custom forms within CiviSchool that do this and manage the parent <-> child relationship. however i suspect you will need to modify the code to meet your needs (CiviSchool is a developer centric module, IMO)

that said, i would not bother trying it out without the latest version of 3.2.x, unless u are an experienced php/mysql/civicrm developer who can troubleshoot and debug issues
