Currently it seems that the CiviEvent Administer > Manage Events page only allows for sorting alphabetically--whether it's a date or a name or "active."

Having a true "sort by date" would be very helpful. Currently sorting by date puts "April" at the top  :P

This is a known issue and an effect of using a dojo selector widget. we hope to fix this in 2.0 with the new dojo grid widget
