Hi! I'm trying to use the HTML snippet of a Profile on another site, and it doesn't seem to work. When I submit the form on that other site, I get redirected to the profile on a CiviCRM page, and the fields are all empty. I have tried setting up a simple Profile with only a single field, and even this snippet doesn't seem to "take." I know that if there is an error in the submission, CiviCRM will rebuild the form page as if no data was submitted, but again, I've tested this with a profile with a single field, so I don't think that is it.

How would I debug this? Where should I look? I even tested with a snippet from the CiviCRM demo to make sure it wasn't an issue with my server, and the CiviCRM demo site works as expected.

Check the exact URL of the snippet's form action. If you've got multiple URLs set up on your main site (with redirects) - that might cause this .... e.g. http;//example.org and http://www.example.org
