Members Only Event Pricing Module for Testing

I have finally finished work on a module that allows a form of members only pricing. It does this by setting group permissions on each option in a price set. I describe the module in detail on my website, where the module and patches are available for download.

I am sure there are bugs, oversights, and other issues with this since it is really alpha, but I appreciate any feedback from those willing to take a look.

I sincerely appreciate any feedback.

I have seen quite a few requests for this although we don't need it so I'm wondering if we should do something to get a bit more profile on this?

Hi Eileen,

I would be happy to do whatever I can to get this module out into the wild. Do you have any thoughts?

I have tweeted it and posted it here, and I would like to get it on drupal.org eventually, but I am sure there is more I can do.

Just a thought - how closely tied with members is this - would it work for events for example? Or will it need more work?

I'm not sure what you mean. The module is about providing members only pricing for Events. I am sorry if I wasn't clear enough on that point.

This feature looks fantastic.  Seems like "members only pricing" is a very narrow  description. This module would be of use to anyone using CiviCRM to apply special discounts, such as guests of honor getting in free, and any other special pricing that is not available to everyone.   

How does this module deal with someone who is registering additional participants for the event? Are the same prices available for all the participants?

Maybe instead of calling it a member pricing module I should call it a special pricing module - civicrm_event_specialpricing?

I haven't tested with multiple participants yet, but it looks like the same form is called, so it should present the same prices for all participants, based on the permissions of the person doing the registration.
